By day I'm a chemist and a computer geek. In my free time, I enjoy science fiction (including going to science fiction conventions), medieval recreation (S.C.A.), choral and folk singing, vegetarian cooking, cycling, medieval/renaissance dance. I write silly lyrics, design and sew weird plush toys, do silly cartoons, and create recipes for rich desserts. I enjoy D&D and other RPGing, though I haven't done them recently.

I like spending time with highly-intelligent, witty women -- I am *not* scared off by women who are smart and know what they want! I'm looking for a woman who'll be a friend and companion as well as a "partner"; I'm strictly monogamously-oriented and am seeking the same in a girlfriend. (A number of my friends are in alternate relationships, which as far as I'm concerned is fine, but very much not for me.) I've never had much luck with romance, so would like to take time to develop a relationship. I'd prefer to date a vegetarian woman, or at least one who's willing to accept my being vegetarian.
